Terms and Conditions

for buying CatNips in KAIJUMIETZ – as of 22 October 2026 · Deutsche Fassung (the German version is legally binding; this is a translation for your convenience)

1. Provider and scope

These terms apply to all purchases of CatNips packs in the browser game KAIJUMIETZ (kaijumietz.de). Playing is free and possible without buying anything.

2. What are CatNips?

• CatNips are a virtual in-game currency you can spend on cats, hats, lasers, effects and other in-game content. Many CatNips can also be earned for free by playing.
• CatNips are not money. They cannot be exchanged back into money, paid out, sold, transferred to other accounts or traded outside the game.
• With a purchase you receive a simple, non-transferable right to use the CatNips and the content unlocked with them within the game with your account.
• Shop offers, prices and promotions may change. Promotions apply only during the stated period.

3. Conclusion of the contract

Only players with a claimed name (confirmed email) can buy. You select a pack, confirm immediate delivery with the checkbox and click the PayPal button. The PayPal window shows the pack and total price again. By clicking “Pay Now” you make a binding offer; the contract is concluded as soon as the payment is confirmed and the CatNips are credited. You can cancel at any time before the last click. The contract language is German; all details of your purchase are sent with the invoice by email.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are final prices in euros including 19% German VAT. Payment is made via PayPal. You receive the invoice immediately after the purchase at your account’s email address.

5. Delivery

CatNips are credited to your account immediately after the confirmed payment. If something goes wrong, contact miau@kaijumietz.de and we’ll credit them manually.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers generally have a right of withdrawal – see the withdrawal policy. Important: Because CatNips are delivered immediately, the right of withdrawal expires once you have expressly agreed before the purchase that we start delivery before the withdrawal period ends and confirmed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (checkbox before buying). We confirm this in the invoice email.

7. Minors

If you are under 18, you may only buy CatNips with the permission of your parents or legal guardians. Parents who learn about a purchase made without their permission can contact miau@kaijumietz.de.

8. Availability and discontinuation

We aim to keep KAIJUMIETZ running at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We keep developing the game and may change content as long as purchased content remains essentially usable. If we discontinue the game or the CatNips shop, we will announce it in the game at least three months in advance so you can still spend your CatNips.

9. Fair play, chargebacks, suspension

If a payment is reversed or refunded, the purchased CatNips are deducted again. In case of fraud, game manipulation or serious violations we may suspend your account after weighing the circumstances; your statutory rights remain unaffected.

10. Warranty and liability

Statutory warranty rights apply. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, injury to life, body or health and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable, typical damage.

11. Dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Just write to us if there’s a problem.

12. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country remain unaffected.
